Road Tripping (And a Giveaway!)
I wear a lot of Nine West cause they tend to make my feet look teeny :)
and my favorite shoes EVER are Crocs, there are some pretty cute styles now and definitely BlogHer appropriate. You can get them right from the Crocs website or about a million other places too. Oh, and Birkenstocks are my other faves - I'm SO not a fashionista :-) My feet love me, though!
So, that's 2 entries fo' me, right?
I know you're probably looking for something dressy but DOOD! you need some nike dunks high top style.
I'm a big, big fan.
Now Wii must go and drool over shoes..
My favoirte shoes right now are my Chaco sandals. I have one pair I were all the time. They give my arch the support it needs and are so comfy.
Some of my favorite brands, Camper, Indigo by Clarks, Vans and Faryl Robin.
May I have the Wii now? Please.
I don't have the budget for the Wii either but I really want to get one for my classroom! So of course my middle-schoolers should win!
Thanks, I'm off to Tweet this. :)
http://twitter.com/Scout7
I will post about this soon. Good luck to me!
Lori
Also, this Portland shop has an online store: http://www.pedxshoes.com/ as does this shop for comfier varieties: http://www.oddball.com/
I also tweeted.
http://www.piperlime.com/browse/categorySearch....
But if you want to be more realistic, I think Chinese Laundry is so fun!
http://www.piperlime.com/browse/categorySearch.... Laundry&searchFilterValue=All Products////Women's shoes////AttribSelect=Vendor='Chinese Laundry'&searchContextPath=All Products////Women's shoes////AttribSelect=Vendor='Chinese Laundry'&searchMode=0
Steph
And my favorite shoes are Isaac Mizrahi's line for target. I can afford them, and I always get mega compliments!
I twittered this too!
As a first time BlogHer attendee, I keep hearing how important comfy shoes are and have a great pair of stylish Aerosoles I'm bringing with!
See you there!

However, they are starting to fall apart so I've been eyeballing the keens at REI. Currently having hot flashes over these bad boys: http://www.rei.com/product/732898 as well as enjoying the possibility of these: http://www.rei.com/product/766205 and these: http://www.rei.com/product/747153
We could be here all day. If I were you, I'd just shimmy on over to REI and demand their best keens.
OH, and I've tweeted this, so am looking forward to a second entry!
http://twitter.com/wannabehippie/statuses/85240...
they are comfy, especially for wide feet like mine, not too expensive, and have a wide variety of style that work for work, play, and even dressy occasions. And I do not work for them
http://www.zappos.com/n/es/d/722100047/page/1.html
And, I tweeted-
http://twitter.com/jodifur
I have a shoe fetish as well. But, all my shoes cost like $80 a pair so they are few and far between. I've been drolling over this pair for a few months now. They are the St. Martin wedge on the athleta site.
http://www.athleta.com/shopping/product/detailm...
That's right, my shoe suggestion is Target...I am a TOTAL loser.
http://www.shopping.com/xPO-Kenneth-Cole-Reacti...
It is on my wishlist.
Not that I wear cheap shoes or anything.
Wii for ME!

road runner sports...I prefer Asics.
Thanks!
Okay, so shop at Mama Om online for some unique threads. I love them.
I also tweeted ya!
I also tweeted (@Mindful_Jodi)
To tell you the truth - the most I'm looking forward to is my hotel room and bed. I'll party @ slide with you guys and every night after a nice dinner is just me, myself, and I. I'm planning a complete mommy download.
I can't wait to hang with you, steph, and amy!
Now that's out of the way --- hand over my wii! hehe...I want one!
I could never narrow shoes down, I love them too much. But right now I'm drooling over the Sperry Top-Sider ballet flats. They're cute and comfortable!
If you want fancy and comfy, go with Sofft (although they can be old lady looking)
If you want everyday awesomeness, Merrell.
Classier comfort, Born is where it's at.
And for best shoe I've ever owned? (for summer parenting at least) it's all about the Keen.
Wanna go super fancy? Cole Haan Air
$300 and worth every penny.
And remeber: men with big feet..... Have ugly shoes. Until now.
OH! And I tweeted:
http://twitter.com/mundanemusings
I will blog about this on my blog.
http://imgladyouasked.wordpress.com
These fit the bill: http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/make-me-talle...
I really like Ryka for walking (running) shoes.
Aerosoles for sandals or "comfort" shoes and Sofft so style;)
I also tweeted!
I'm http://twitter.com/acowboyswife.com
As for shoes? I love 'em. Typically, I go to Marshalls for shoes - the have fabulous name brands for amazingly cheap prices. I got a pair of amazing Reebok running shoes there, as well as some hot BGBC heels in a merlot color. I think I paid about $30 for each, when they were normally over $80.
I'll tweet this, too. http://twitter.com/Wonderspot
Stumbled this post for you too!
Because if I said NOT to wear these: http://www.target.com/Mossimo-Danae-Peep-Toe-Pu...
I'm sure everyone else would LOVE THEM. So goahead. ;-)
And also, MUST add you to my "lick" list. OMG. MUST. XO
I wear a 10-wide because I'm TALL so finding my size is difficult. I use eBay alerts to tell me whenever a pair my size becomes available. This also saves me about $50 a pair!
You can't go wrong with Clark's they're so comfy...I promise you'll feel like Cinderella at the end of the day even if you don't fit her Crystal shoes!

http://www.zappos.com/n/br/b/257/Simple.html
No animal products included, just cute cute cute shoes!
If money were no object, or comfort either I LOVE this sexy vegan line:
http://www.tecasan.com/Content.aspx?Page=Design...
I'd agree and say Nine West is a good choice for fashion and comfort.
Tweeted! http://twitter.com/simplyhealthy/statuses/85249...

Designers shoes if you want to spend the moolah!
www.vegetarianshoesandbags.com
You can find everything from boots, casual, dress, athletic for the entire family and their bags and belts are fabulous! They have fantastic shoes at affordable prices. Also, all the products are vegetarian and cruelty-free so you won't feel guilty about slipping on those perfect pumps, or struttin' your stuff in those killer thigh-high boots.
Some of my favorite shoes are: the women's cushie by Simple (http://tinyurl.com/5ez2gb), the vegan slingback pump (http://tinyurl.com/5fulwr), and the Macaroon casual vegan shoe (http://tinyurl.com/55zo86).
The website is very helpful when answering your questions about your order or a specific product. Gift certificates are available and they offer free shipping on all orders over $75!
Peperlime is my poison and Rocket Dog are my shoes! I need comfy shoes that are cute enough for work and casual enough for skirts and jeans...they have them.
My latest pair? "Rattle".
Love.

I worked there in the 80's and his stuff just keeps on getting better. And they are pretty comfy too.
Have a great time at BlogHer, I'm jealous!

They are discounted here:

For my part, I like the New Balance sneakers I have now - they've held up really well and I got them on sale somewhere when I bought them originally. I think I even managed to get them slightly before they became more of "the shoe" to buy. :)
i'm dying for a wii, hope i win

I also like to go to the kids section lol. They are cheaper and fit great. I wear a 7 womens and I think a 6 childs.
Oh and I tweeted this contest too. (ncbartels).
I'd go with anything by UGG, I find they are very comfy, I love my mules and my sandals by them!
I'll tweet this!
especially the slip-on Vans.
I also am blogging this. :)
I've just twittered about it too!
Fun comfort? Privo
Ugly but feels so good and I can walk a thousand miles? Birkenstocks
Don't judge me.

I especially like that they don't make my feet sweat. That's a constant issue for me.
I twittered about it! CPAMOM is my twitter ID.
For Style? Michael Kors
Bang for Your Buck? Shoe Pavillion
gkstratos@ yahoo.com
Hey, I tweeted too!
I twittered also http://twitter.com/barefootgypsy
shan51978@yahoo.com
And my "Naot" version of birkenstocks.
As far as twitter, I'm saderman, and will happily post away!
If you're looking for a cute, strappy casual-dress sandal, I suggest the Nickels Women's Trainer; (think low-wedge.) It's on sale for $29.99, and comes in Tangerine, Black, Bone and Spring Green.
Oh, and if I win, my whole family will love you "for-ev-ver"! (Squints from The Sandlot - you know that one, right?)
I guess I'm missing the "shoe gene" that some women have. I'm not big on shoes. I own a pair of worn sneakers and I'm happy as a clam. I have a pair of pumps that I wear if I have to go to a funeral or fancy occasion.
My favorite place to shop for shoes for my family is Payless. I have two growing kids and no sooner do you buy a pair of shoes they outgrow it a week later (ok, not THAT fast but you get the idea). Once they stop growing then we'll invest in more "high end" quality shoes.
Thanks for the awesome prize give away!
I've already twittered, so count me for 2!
Now when I'm shopping for dressy shoes, I always go for Cole Haan (dressy, sporty, whatever...THEY HAVE IT). These are the best shoes EVER. www.colehaan.com & their customer service in-store & online ROCKS.
Go here:
http://www.fluevog.com/
http://surelyyounest.blogspot.com/2008/04/eco-f...
Nice giveaway!
Anyway, I have two different places that I love to shop from. They're both shopping directories as opposed to just a store.
One of them is SheFinds.com. They find some of the BEST deals.
The other one is an invitation-only mailing list for various boutiques. Its at RueLaLa.com and if you want to check it out, let me know and I can send you an invite.
Oh, and I will definitely Tweet this.
twitter.com/AprilTara
Thanks for the chance to win a WII, my kids would go bananas if I would actually win this!
Have fun with BlogHer.
Anyways I suggest this site for shoes:
barefeetshoes.com
has a lot of selection and reasonable prices for in season looks
http://privo.zappos.com/
Thanks for such a FUN giveaway!!!
And I tweeted too:
http://twitter.com/AmyInOhio
seeryusfam@msn.com
The comf-iest shoes in the whole wide world are Dankos--they are like walking on fluffy kittens. But not crazy stylish.
For style, I like Nine West--because they carry sizes that go high enough to fit my ginormous feet.
I twittered this too. You can follow me and see at ilinap.
I Twittered as well and would LOVE to win a WII. :D
www.twitter.com/bunnytrails
Well, I love Zappos, but they certainly aren't the cheapest. I always compare shoes.com as well, which is usually cheaper, if you can stand to wait for a week or more instead of overnight.
Also, they are on ebates, so I get a kickback.
http://mommyland512.blogspot.com/2008/07/win-wi...
Thanks again!
here is a pic of them:

Cydwoqs. These are totally unique shoes.

Have fun at BlogHer!
I tweeted too for you!
Then again, endless.com is looking pretty good on the high end!

O' My Sole. I don't know if that's just a local shoe store or there are more of them out there. But they have the cutest clogs for 6-year-old girls.
http://www.shoeocean.com/20307-10360.html
They are so cute! Red and white heels with the sweetest bow. Bumper Heels Betsy is the name of the shoe. Love them!

i love love love Coach Shoes... for dressup... they have some gorgeous heels!!!
I found a pair of sandals regularly $120 on sale for $35... I was in heaven! Good Luck!!!
I love the Danscos if I am going to be on my feet all day.

the4moyers(at)msn(dot)com
I'll be also posting about this giveaway on my blog! http://hawaiimoneysavingmama.blogspot.com/
I've blogged the contest at: http://wiihd.fortunz.com/contests:070908-360s-a...
For dressier work shoes, I really like Kim Rogers or Liz Claiborne Flex.
I tend to be really hard on shoes, so I don't like spending a lot of money for them. However, I've learned that a great pair of shoes will last for a long time :)
http://www.skechers.com/catalog/browse.do?funct...
http://thehomeschoolway.blogspot.com/2008/07/gi...
Also I love new balance running shoes and Birkenstock for sandals.
My shoe recommendation probably isn't wildly helpful. I love Tops for Shoes, a locally owned shop with a ton of awesome shoes in downtown Asheville, NC. But maybe you can look for an independent shoe store where you live? I love to support local businesses.
:)
As for the shoes.. I am NOT trendy at all. I am ALL for comfort... so i would have to suggest any place where they sell crocs is the right place for me. they have so many different styles now, not as ugly as the first ones. I am stuck with the original ones though... in 3 different colors.
I LOVE my Pumas for everyday wear. I wear Pumas to work and with jeans and everything. I had a favorite pair that bit the dust and they're not available anymore. It seriously makes me want to cry when I think about it. I'm keeping them in my closet and might make a shrine to them one day.
During the summer I LIVE in Old Navy flip flops. At first I was mad they redesigned them this year, but now I wonder how I ever wore the OLD design. They're so comfy and how can you beat them at $2.50!?
And finally, in the winter months, I tend to find my winter boots at Burlington Coat Factory. And by winter boots I mean knee-high Nine West lovelies or something of that nature.
Next up I really want to buy a pair of Hunter wellies. I'm waiting for the fall.
And lookie here: http://twitter.com/FuschiaFoot/statuses/853774288
That said, yeah, I ♥ @zappos like the next girl...
But my super sekrit shoe source is one that I almost never talk about - but every time I get a pair of shoes there, people constantly comment on how cute they are...
Ready for the non-shoe store recommendation?
Dress Barn.
Seriously. No really. Dress Barn always has the cutest shoes - some are imported Italian. But people don't think to go there b/c they aren't a 'shoe store'. Still, it's one of those places I'll buy 2 pairs of a shoe I love b/c I know I'll want a second pair when the first wears out! :)
Here you go:
For your trip to San Francisco with walking and hills with fashion, of course, try these:
http://tarynrose.zappos.com/n/p/dp/32658836/c/9...
(angelina jole wears them!)
For your evenings out at BlogHer parties, try these:http://www.shopstyle.com/action/loadRetailerProductPage?id=23299618
For going back to reality after BlogHer, try these:
http://www.sundancecatalog.com/PRODUCT/Shoes & Bags/Shoes/43180.html
I also want to give a shout out to New Balance, the first to understand it's impossible to play sports without shoes fitting in width.
I was in a real bind when I was working a trade show event in Las Vegas. I was working 12-15 hour days standing up and my shoes were giving me major blisters all over my feet to the point where I could hardly walking anymore. I was working at the Venitian, so I ran upstairs and found The Walking Company. I had never been there before, but the sales people were really friendly and they found a clog by Dansko that fit my foot and was soooo comfortable. They also have really comfy socks as well.
Check me out on Twitter. I'll be posting a link to this as well:
http://www.twitter.com/itechgirl
As far as shoes, my favorites (I have them on today) are black sandals from TJ Maxx. I also love Payless and Target and Off Broadway Shoes. Hey, what can I say. I'm on a budget.
These are fun...I actually have one pair of really cute and comfy black sandals (it's at rend with me) from Sears, although I rarely shop there:
http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_054060...
I'd never be able to actually walk in them mind, you, but they are fun.
I love green:
http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/shoes/womens/co... 9 Shore Wedge Sandals.jsp
And these are cool (Kohls is having a big sale):
http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/shoes/womens/co... 9 Shore Lizard Wedge Sandals.jsp
And only $22.50!
Red patent peep toe wedges:

Me, I need that Wii to drown my sorrows since I'm not going...

BTW... I put a link to your page here on both of my blogs!!!! Happy shoe shopping!!!!
When I am looking for "sensible" shoes ha! I head to the Dansko outlet.
http://mommainflipflops2.blogspot.com/2008/07/w...
Once again thanks so much.
524 17th Avenue, SW
For going out and looking cute? Nothing beats Seychelle's. Cute, eclectic, fun and comfortable.
I usually buy them off piperlime...occasionally payless will have a pair or two :)
But if you really want to know my opinion? I swear by Merrills. I know it's not what you're looking for, but I think they're cute and so very comfy. If you're gonna be walking a lot, they're the ones...
I'm crossing my fingers for my husband on this one:)
I also drool over Badgley Mischka's though, I REALLY wanted to get a pair for my wedding (yet, too expensive).
But the shoes over at Alternative Outfitters dot com, are awesome! I even found a super fancy pair I bet you'd look fab in! The Princess Diana Can Turqouise VEGAN pump, by Sugar Shoes. You should check them out! http://www.alternativeoutfitters.com/index.asp?...
Talk to you soon.
Megan
Okay, I love, love, love Sketchers!
Years ago, I bought a brand new pair of Sketchers sneakers the day before I was walking a 5K.
I got the bright idea to wear them on the walk. They were the MOST comfortable shoes and I had no blisters!
Since then, all my sneakers are Sketchers and I have had no problems with them!
Gimme Kimmy the Wii please!!
kenzkween at hotmail dot com
and I am now following you!
thanks!!
kenzkween at hotmail dot com
As for shoes, I honestly don't have a favorite brand or store. My requirements are: cute, comfortable, slip on and off with no hands.
I'm really a bare foot gal anyway. ;)
The last pair of shoes I picked up were flip flops from Old Navy.
KSwiss or Nike for tennis shoes
Eastlands for casual shoes
sandals I have issues with. I never can seem to find the right ones.
I try to avoid heels at all costs.
I've blogged about this great contest here:
http://me-lace.blogspot.com/2008/07/to-think-is...
I haven't tried anything fancy from there, though, so I have no idea if their big ole' fancy-heeled shoes are as comfortable :)
I think they're having their BOGO sale right now (buy one pair, get the next half off), so it could be the perfect time to stock up for Blogher (and I'm SO jealous you're going to Blogher!)
Thanks for the giveaway. I was just telling my husband tonight how bad I want a Wii just so I can play Wii Fit. *dream*
thanks!
moore.g at insideconnect.net
In terms of total comfort fashion-ability I love Steve Madden's shoes.
http://www.tomsshoes.com/shoes.aspx
I do also shop at Payless, as the prices are fantastic, and there's lots of comfortable shoes to choose from.
Great giveaway - thanks!
blogged your link.
My favorite places to find my size are payless, target and valley lane brand shoes found online at different sponsers.
Thank you for a chance to win my children a much wanted prize.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE when Dillards has there amazing clearence sales. My mother is the shoe fanatic (her motto is - if the shoe fits----buy it in every color---and she does!!!!). I've found some amazing deals at Dillards like the time I got 3 pairs for 15.00. AMAZING!!! One was a cute red jelly type shoe in a mary jane style with a little yellow flower on the side. Another was a pair of flat ballet type in brown. I even bought my wedding shoes at Dillards because I knew they would have just what I wanted and at a great price.
Good Luck Everyone!!
They always fit me perfect.
If I find a brand I like in general or a style I love that is not in my size I go home and search google to see what comes up. Another great site for shoes? QVC.
http://dun4fun-hondaray6.blogspot.com/
Can't beat that.
My favorite brands: Birks, Aerosoles and Born
I have wide feet and it's all about comfort for me, I do alot of walking. Also, the shoes MUST breathe, so leather is a must.
Enter me, please!
Beyond that I just found some super cute, cheap ballet flats at Old Navy that are pretty comfy and stylish too.
#1: I love flip flops. I am from Texas, now living in Colorado, and I HAVE to wear my flip flops everywhere...
#2: There is a store here that sells amazing shoes at great prices. I bought some GORGEOUS PINK WILD DIVA PLEATED HEELS BLACK RUFFLE for a fairly cheap price.
#3: If you ever come to Colorado I'll take ya there :)
I twittered here:
http://twitter.com/sweetnlowinca
Go to Bloomingdale's website. Sign up for their newsletter. From then on, you will receive the most fabulous savings e-mails ever. I routinely get 50% off the lowest price of their sales merchandise, including shoes.
My last purchase was a pair of the most best boots EVER by Faryl Robin (one of my favorite shoe designers). With my Bloomingdale's discount email, I got 50% off the sales price and free shipping. For a pair of boots that retailed for $300 , I was supremely thrilled.
I think the Bloomies e-mail deals are the best I've ever found.
PS: GREAT SWEEPSTAKES!!!
I think you will find something you will just love. Thanks for the chance to win something I would love.
They are discounted and I like Clarks.
They hold up well and are comfortable
I usually get clogs, they have nice sandals too.I go for comfort. Thanks
