Also, using the garbage disposal for anything I can stick down there. Wait, are there certain things I should NOT put in a garbage disposal? I blame mom.)</p><p>unplugging all not-in-service devices</p><p>not using heat or a/c unless absolutely necessary</p><p>laying clothes</p><p>reducing garbage</p><p>reusing EVERYTHING from containers to shampoo bottles</p><p>Seriously love those bags. So darn sassy. Have you seen the reusable "For Like Ever" sacks? Now I am being super conservative with my driving habits, driving a little under the limit, no quick starts or stops. Would love to be even more conversative if I win some reusable bags. Vice versa in the summer. It's suppose to save energy.</p><p>-Installed water saving showerheads.</p><p>-We used salvaged wood when redoing the beam in our kitchen.</p><p>That's the tip of the ice berg anyway.</p>K. I carry a small roll up bag in my purse and keep bigger ones in my trunk. I really can't believe I am even doing it. Used to I would have never cared but now that I have kids my mind has changed. I am no longer buying plastic anymore, I give my baby all organic baby food and trying to buy organic food for my husband, son and I as well.
